Exciting news! I am thrilled to announce that my graphic work «Insight» has been included in Her Majesty the Queen’s graphic print collection at the royal castle in Oslo!
This year the Queen of Norway will be 80 years old. The Association of Norwegian Printmakers wished to appreciate H.M. Queen Sonja’s considerable effort for Norwegian art and culture throughout her life.
In this context, active Norwegian artists were invited to contribute to a graphic collection in the Queen’s name. The collection will be a contemporary cross-section of Norwegian graphics.
On the Queen’s 80th anniversary, July 4th, 2017, Dronning Sonja KunstStall (Queen Sonja’s ArtStable) opens in the castle’s old stables. Dronning Sonja KunstStall becomes a new display site for graphics and will be open to the public. The opening exhibition will contain works from this graphic collection. All the artwork that are included in the collection will be made available digitally.
My contribution will be on display in this exhibition from July 5th until September 24th 2017. The opening hours will be from 11:00 to 17:00. The exhibition hall is located in the Palace Park in Oslo.
The exhibition and the collection of graphic works can be viewed as a historically interesting cross-section of norwegian graphic artwork today.
