Inside the forest

What’s up you ask? Well I am currently in the process of getting started with an exciting project where I enter the forest in my motives. One could say that I metaphorically have dived into the woods in my works of art.
As you may have figured out by now I’m fascinated by the conscious, or perhaps more correctly the subconscious, influence that nature has upon us humans. Therefore, I often focus on nature’s tacit influence on our common identification process. This can be reflected in my paintings as poetic beings, usually with surprising elements that give a surreal expression. My distinctiveness lies in my emotional distortion of proportions in combination with bold color use, which enables contemplation. The main keyword is perception, but interaction, longing, reflection, relationships are also words that springs to mind as an inspirational stream in my paintingprosess.

Here’s a sneak peek of something I’m currently working  on. Bear in mind it’s a work in process, but the painting is starting to resemble something that speaks to me. It’s acrlylic on canvas 100 cm x 80 cm.
