In order to make the most of my artistic life I have to fill my battery and get inspired to get the work done. One of my most important sources of inspiration is to walk in the nature. As often as I can I travel up in the mountains and in the forest, or travel out to the sea. Other times I can lose myself for hours in the botanical garden which I live next to. Still, I find new motives and I constantly let myself inspire again and again. To me, nature is essential. I love the weird animals that I sometimes meet on my trips. Funky squirrels, bouncing hares, strange birds and insects. In a way they speak to me. The stories that they activate in my mind make me happy. These soul meetings are gifts I bring with me into my paintings.
